Here are our COVID Safety Measures:
Safety is our Priority.
When you visit Eikonic you can feel confident and safe in the service you receive.
We are safer & cleaner than ever before. Our Barbers and Stylists are implementing elevated sanitation & cleaning practices that enhance our existing processes.
Eikonic Service Safe Certified
All Students and Instructors are now required to be "Eikonic Service Safe Certified," which means they have completed training courses on cleaning, disinfection and sanitation specific to COVID-19.
You'll also notice the addition of disinfectants at each cutting station, hand sanitizer throughout the facility for Stylist and Client use and cleaning and wiping down surfaces between each Client.
To maintain social distancing requirements, some changes have been made to the layout of the store.
Removal of waiting chairs (or non-use of those chairs) to allow for enough space to put six feet minimum distance between each one. Guests can wait in their vehicles in the parking lot until we are ready to start your service.
Limiting use of chairs in the shampoo area to ensure proper spacing between Guests.
Every person entering the Academy must complete Wellness Checks and must be cleared at the beginning of each day.
If you are guest who isn’t feeling well, are running a fever or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 we will ask that you reschedule your appointment.
All personnel are required to wear at least a 3-ply mask while they are working.
We strongly recommend that all Guests bring and wear a mask. If you forget we have disposable masks available for you.
All Barbers and Stylists wear protective masks and face shields during service.
To limit contact between Stylists and Clients, you'll notice some changes in our haircut services.
All appointments must be scheduled in advance online or by phone call.
We cannot accommodate walk-in appointments at this time.
If you find yourself unwell before an upcoming appointment, please let us know! We will help you reschedule no questions asked & at no charge!
Each Guest receives a clean cape for the service.
Beard, shave and eyebrow trims may not be offered, depending on mandates.
Important things to note
Please use a compassionate and community minded approach to your health. Refrain from coming in if you show any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Please refrain from bringing in any extras - bags, computers, food & drinks. All extra objects besides your freshly sanitized phone will be placed in a bag for the duration of the appointment. We suggest paring down to your jacket/coat, keys, phone and form of payment if possible.
Please do not wear gloves. We have both hand sanitizer and hand washing available in our locations.
Please come to the salon alone. No additional guests or children at your appointment as we do not have the space to accommodate any extra people right now.
If you have traveled outside of Canada you must abide by the Ontario international travel restrictions and wait 14 days before visiting the salon.
